You die,
but the sun rises.
You expire,
and salmon run upstream.

You give out,
as another baby is born,
You pass away,
while it rains over the desert.

You perish,
as a wolf barks at the moon.
You exit,
and waves smash onto the shore.

You fail,
as a hawk kills a rabbit.
You disappear,
and a flower bursts into bloom.

It seems, your importance in the world,
deemed so great by yourself,
is gone,
before your body hits the ground.

Note:  My wife said I should post this because it has a ring of truth to it, but that next time I needed to do something more uplifting and positive.  I’ll try, but the truth is seldom a rainbow.

It is, though, as they say, All Good.

    Depressing. Yesterday.
I prefer to live in denial. ;]

Definitely some truth to it, but the people who know and love you, even your animal family members stop, and contemplate your passing, feel your loss and grieve, even while the flower blooms and a baby is born. That is good.
